After the grand success of Khosla Ka Ghosla and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, director Dibakar Banarjee has come up with a new concept and cinematography in Love, Sex aur Dhokha (LSD), which highlights voyeurism in society.
A digital film with a digital camera hidden somewhere playing a character itself. LSD features a bunch of new comers where voyeurism being the major concern. The movie releases Friday,19th March,10.
"Voyeurism is what the whole society finds itself trapped in and this is the reality that I wish through my film, " Banerjee said.
It being a small-budget film will release across 350 screens in India only. Its stars debutants Anshuman Jha, Raj Kumar Yadav, Neha Chauhan, Amit Sial, Arya and Herry Tangdi.
LOVE
Its starts with three different stories altogether. The first story starts from a second rating film institute of north india a final year students gears up for his diploma in film. In pristine tackiness, with an amateur small town cast, Rahul starts etching out the perennial themes of great star studded backlit Bollywood Love in his magnum opus... And then he falls in love with his heroine, Shruti.
SEX
Somewhere in the same city Adarsh-The tech savvy guy, knows everything, never short of words, security camera agency executive installs four security camera in a 24 departmental store franchise. Always having bizzare ideas to get rich through scam ideas. Adarsh mind struck with an idea of making a porn clip through the security cameras installed in the store. He starts to woo Rashmi- a simple sales girl. Suddenly a shootout happens in the store and Rashmi saves a file. For the first time Adarsh notices a woman in Rashmi!
DHOKA
In the another corner of the city, Prabhat-a sting journalist teeters on the brink of total meltdown. Going through a divorce and about to loose his job, attempts a series of suicides but fails all the time, meets Naina who also tries to commit suicide.
Naina had been promised a video album by Loki Local, India's reigning Hip Hop star. She also slept with him for the same but the video finally went to a Russian blonde. Prabhat and Naina comes closer over a series of attempts to seduce, blackmail and threaten the Hip Hop star. Finally they plan a sting against him to catch the star on the tape admitting his follies.
"If you don't like the title and think that it may not have the content that would be appropriate for you, then don't watch Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. I know there is an audience waiting for the film and it is that segment which wants to call a spade a spade. In any case, the film isn't designed for those who wish to escape from the realities of life," Banerjee said.
