"Shooting for Kites was going on with a lot of fun" says director Anurag Basu. He recalled an incident when Hrithik was slapped by Barbara for a sequence in the movie and the director okayed it. But Barbara tried to play some prank with him. She as the director for a retake because she wanted to slap Hrithik again. :PLooking at this Hrithik was taken aback. He was shocked by the decision of the director because now director also wanted a retake. When the retake begun, instead of Barbara slapping Hrithik, Hrithik smelled a rat and slapped her instead and everyone bursted out laughing. He shocked his co-star for his prank over her.
There were rumors of about Hrithik and Barbara having an affair during the shooting and this is all because having a very good chemistry.
